Intersex Organizations
WE are often asked to provide lists of all the intersex organizations around the world as well as those organizations that actively and equally include intersex in their human rights activism work, support work and membership.
By organizations we mean those that have memberships and conduct their activities in the offline, real, physical world as opposed to the purely online world of Facebook Groups, Google Groups, Yahoo Groups, blogs, web pages, mailing lists and the like.
We have been informed that some organizations purporting to include intersex in their work do not actually understand what intersex is, do not understand the fundamental needs of intersex people and the fundamental differences between intersex and the rest of LGBTI+, and thus do not do effective work for intersex people. We will do our best to filter the organizations that we list here.
