We are grateful for GLAAD’s support for intersex people, in the face of this demonizing of intersex in CSI:Miami.
GLAAD incorrectly classifies intersex as transgender. GLAAD, please reconsider.
However, we are concerned about GLAAD itself accidentally (we assume) misrepresenting one salient fact about intersex. Intersex is not also, somehow, ‘transgender’ (see the transgender category page). That is, intersex is not the same as transgender nor is it a subset of transgender.
