I didn't realise Lili Elbe was intersex. I saw a short piece in the <em><a href="http://www.mxnet.com.au/" rel="nofollow">MX</a></em> the other day that mentioned the movie was coming up and was about the life of the first transsexual person to have operations to become the opposite sex, and then went on to crap on about Kidman and Paltrow (in quite a sexist and repugnant way actually). I wouldn't expect a well researched or sensitive piece on intersex issues in the <em>MX</em> of course! I will now look up some more info on Lili Elbe.
