CitizenShift & the Hatred of the Few

by admin on Thursday, 15 October, 2009

Hate speech and sheer, unreasoning hatred itself often pursue intersex people who dare to become organized in the pursuit of our own human rights and the human rights of others – we have haters who fixate on us and who attack us each and every day wherever they possibly can. There is an example of this in action threaded through the well-reasoned and the reasonable comments, in the comments section attached to the post we are linking to here.

By the way, OII’s founder Curtis Hinkle is a citizen of the USA who lives in the USA – note the hater’s many mistaken assumptions trumpeted in one of his comments. Hatred and being a true believer in some kind of ideology or religion aka System of Belief for that matter rarely pay much attention to fact.

Chris S xxy is an Australian member of OII and of OII Australia.

Zoe Brain is an Australian who lives in Canberra.
