The GLBT 2020 Survey is now online and will be available for about a month. We encourage our members, readers and supporters to take part.
Information about the survey is contained in the external links below. OII Australia members have taken the survey already, and report that the form makes no provision for intersex people.
However, it does contain a text box, depicted in the screenshot below, that allows you to send the survey organisers feedback.
We suggest that you ask the organisers to include intersex people and intersex issues in future surveys, in the Working Group, and in future consultations with community groups and individuals, and reflect this by changing the name to the GLBTI 2020 Survey.
We ask that you do so in a thoughtful and well mannered way.
We do not believe in excluding anyone, or in ignoring anybody’s voice.
We do not believe in ignoring the fact that any specific oppressed group exists.
We believe that the time of excluding and silencing intersex people must now be ended once and for all.

GLBT 2020 Survey
Welcome to the GLBT 2020 community survey for 2009. This survey will take you around 5 minutes to complete.
The first stage of the GLBT 2020 summit occured in Sep 2008, and involved representatives from a broad spectrum of GLBT community organisations.
We are asking you to give us input into your own thoughts on several key topics that impact all of our lives. The information you provide will help guide our community organisations on the best areas to focus our efforts.
All responses are anonymous and confidential. Thank you for your help!
